This occurs only in the Serengeti and Masai Mara ecosystem. It is a year-round cycle in which approximately two million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebra migrate from one place to another, seeking pasture and water. Surprisingly, this migration occurs at specific places at specific times of year, year after year, as if planned — but it is in fact driven purely by the forces of nature.
